Oakvillegreen hosts the Mayor’s Urban Forest Awards
Tuesday, March 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Oakvillegreen is hosting our 3rd annual awards event that focuses attention on our critical urban forest. This year we will be honouring local tree heroes who have fought to preserve and expand our urban forest as well as acknowledge local businesses, schools and individuals who have created healthy urban forest habitat through landscaping. As in previous years, local photographers and artists who have captured the urban forest in pictures, poems, paintings and short stories will also receive recognition.
Unfortunately, since the south Atrium will be closed due to construction this event will be held in Council Chambers and in the North Atrium where there is limited seating.
